If you’re trying to map a network drive and receiving the above error you may want to try connecting to the drive with different credentials.

Not rocket science at all, but I won’t even tell you how long this one took to figure out!

I've scoured the internet for an answer to this problem, and you wouldn't believe the kinds of solutions offered by the so-called "experts" out there for this problem; from altering DNS settings to completely uninstalling and reinstalling windows.

Your solution is so simple I couldn't believe my eyes. After reading all the other "solutions" out there, I was prepared to either give up, or take a strong drink, and gird myself to get dirty slogging around in the innards of Windows Vista 64.
